Villeta - Cundinamarca
Villeta is a municipality in Cundinamarca (Colombia), located in the Province of Gualivá, is located 91 km from Bogotá, is considered the capital of the province. Its name means "Little Villa" and is dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel.
Villeta is famous for its production of sugarcane for its festivals as the International Pageant of Panela in January Departmental Band Festival in August and for being the town where begins the Ruta del Sol.
It is also an important tourist center Cundinamarca department because of their ecological trails, waterfalls, spas, sugarcane farms and hospitality infrastructure.
